Proposed Junior Rugby League Club

A New Pride
Is Growing

A community-led proposal to establish a junior rugby league club representing Sylvania & Sylvania Waters.

Together, we roar.

This isn't a club yet. It's a community coming together to build one.

Why the Lions

A club built around community.

The Sylvania Lions proposal is about creating a strong local rugby league identity for Sylvania & Sylvania Waters and building a club where players, parents, volunteers and supporters can feel part of something from the very beginning.

Our vision is for a welcoming grassroots club where kids are known by name, families get involved and everyone has an opportunity to contribute to building the Pride.

While Sylvania & Sylvania Waters are at the heart of the club's identity, interest from families and supporters in surrounding communities is welcome.

Expressions of Interest

Want to see the Lions become a reality?

Registering your interest doesn't commit you or your child to joining a club. It simply helps us understand the level of community support for establishing the Sylvania Lions.

Community Support

Building a new club takes a community.

You don't need to have children intending to play to support the proposal. Residents, parents, grandparents, former players, rugby league supporters, volunteers, local businesses and community organisations all help make a grassroots club possible.

Every expression of interest helps us better understand the level of community support behind establishing the Sylvania Lions.

Businesses & Sponsors

Run a local business?

Local businesses can register interest just as easily as families can. There's no financial commitment and no sponsorship agreement — just an early expression of interest.
